Personalized Care

Holistic Approach

We have seen how an injury can alter a patient’s life, independence, and mobility. Similarly, we know how an injury can alter an athlete’s confidence. And we appreciate the financial and emotional challenges of disability and missed days of work. As a result, unlike a large healthcare network, which can often times feel disorienting, we have created a small team of healthcare professionals, motivated to care for patients on an individualized level with efficient and compassionate communication.

Telehealth and Video Visits have been around long before the COVID-19 pandemic. They are very useful for medication refills/adjustments, further discussion regarding a diagnosis, explanation of test results, and “spot checks” for patients with limited mobility. Insurance companies often do not pay for video visits limiting access for some patients. We check with your insurance if video visits are covered and give all our patients the option to make telehealth an integral part of their care to prevent interruption of their daily life/work schedules. We really appreciate the challenges of commuting in the Tri-State area.

Effective July 11, 2023, the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board adopted permanent regulations for telehealth appointments in certain situations for workers who sustain a work-related injury or illness.  Now, telehealth is a permanent option within the workers’ compensation system.
